Tour Our House
On the main floor, you’ll find a welcoming entryway, a light-filled living room with seating for 12, and a turret nook that transforms into a game table or extra dining space with the extra table in the closet under the stairs and the extra chairs in the attic.
The formal dining room seats ten and is perfect for lingering meals, while the kitchen is stocked for serious cooking and casual snacks alike—with everything from cast iron pans to a stand mixer ready to go.
Just off the kitchen is a small but handy laundry area with supplies, tucked out of the way but easily accessible.
The main-floor bedroom (“The Owner’s Suite”) has a king bed, connects to the downstairs full bath, and a reclining chair for reading or resting, an exterior door with keyless entry off the front porch/Lee Avenue.
Upstairs, five uniquely furnished and named bedrooms with 4 queen beds and 1 full bed offer quiet nooks and comfy chairs for relaxing with a book or retreating from the group. Two bathrooms upstairs include one with a cast iron tub, both with showers.
Outside, the front porch looks out over Nelson Street & Lee Avenue, where rocking chairs offer the perfect perch for morning coffee, people-watching, or evening chats as the sun goes down. It’s one of our favorite spots in the house. Bring out the three-in-one game table and enjoy chess, checkers, or backgammon with a view.
Upstairs, a back side porch offers sweeping views of the Blue Ridge mountains—a peaceful spot for sunrise reflections, coffee in hand, or an afternoon drink above the rooftops of downtown Lexington. There is room for two at a bar top table with stools.
The finished attic adds a fun, flexible space for games, workouts, or late-night hangouts. It’s stocked with darts, puzzles, yoga mats, weights, and even a keyboard—whatever kind of fun you’re in the mood for.
Our side-yard picnic table (seats 6–8) is a crowd favorite. Whether you’re hosting a long lunch under the big blue umbrella (stored in the carriage house) or enjoying a candlelit dinner with friends, this is a perfect spot for meals, coloring with kids, or a low-key board game night.
A hidden gem behind the main house, the carriage house, is stocked with: A ping pong table, viewing seating, entertaining and catering supplies, a badminton set (rackets, net, and shuttlecocks—all in the labeled bag on the shelf), grill tools, coolers, and a hammock. It’s a go-to hangout for kids, teens, or anyone needing a shaded escape with room to play.
A propane grill sits just outside the kitchen, ready for burgers, kabobs, or grilled peaches. Grill tools and folding tables are in the carriage house for easy setup.
The cornhole set is set up in the attic during the cold-weather months and stored in the Carriage House during warm-weather months
For peak relaxation: grab the hammock tub from the carriage house, attach it to the two trees closest to the grill, and enjoy a gentle swing with a good book or a glass of lemonade. It’s also a great place for an afternoon nap in the breeze.
